How do consolidation loans work?

A consolidation loan can work for you if you need a sustainable solution to your debt problems.

In most cases, it’s only a short-term solution, as one can re-use the now available credit from credit cards, store cards, etc. This can keep happening until you’ve drowned yourself in more debt until you can’t take any more consolidation loans.

Well, if you’re certain of living a debt relief life Debt Therapy consultants are constantly waiting and happy to hear from you. They can assist in introducing you to living a debt-free life, with a few easy steps to follow. So, if you find it hard to pay off debts you made unexpectedly. Contact Debt Therapy and get a suitable option that will accommodate your financial status.

Debt consolidation services

There are two ways to consolidate your debt, one with a loan and another without a loan. Debt consolidation without a loan is for clients who have been blacklisted to a point where getting a consolidation loan is impossible. Whereas consolidation loans are for clients with a good credit record and who are not blacklisted.

Here is how you can qualify and apply for debt review

  • Over the age of 18
  • Permanently or self-employed at least for over 3 years
  • Good credit record
  • Pay slips if any
  • A bank statement not older than three months
  • Creditors information (the registered creditor)

The five easy steps to break free from debt

Step 1 - You’ll fill in an online application form. A professionally trained Debt Therapy consultant will call you back for a free assessment. They’ll require a list of all your monthly expenses and debts.

Step 2 - Secure your protection from legal action. On your next payday, you’ll start repaying the reduced amount. A debt counsellor considers your budget and calculates lower monthly payments. Hence, more money is left for you to cover your living expenses.

Step 3 - This is where you start your initial payment. The temporary initial debt payment is sent to your credit. If you carry on offering your monthly payment, then that’s where your creditors will know how committed you are.

Step 4 - Finalisation of your debt payment plan. Your debt advisor will directly negotiate a final payment plan with your creditors. Thereafter, they’ll present it to you.

Step 5 - The final payment plan is made through court. After you, your advisor and your creditors have agreed on a final payment plan, the payment plan is now presented to the court by your Legal Representative from Dept Therapy.

The court order will issue a Court with the date for your final payment. The date you pay all the amount you agreed on will be the day you walk free from all your debts!
